Rhubarb Simple Syrup

I use this as a tart replacement for grenadine in lots of different cocktails.

Rhubarb Simple Syrup

makes 1 cup


  • 1 cup rhubarb juice, see recipe section for instructions
  • 1 cup sugar


Mix juice and sugar in a small sauce pan set over medium heat. Stir to dissolve sugar. Then cook a few minutes until slightly thickened.
