
You’ll blink your own sort of double take with this updated Blinker Cocktail made with Pama pomegranate liqueur and grapefruit juice. It’s sweet and sour nature is made deeply sophisticated with a base of rye whiskey. The original version was featured in Patrick Gavin Duffy’s The Official Mixer’s Manual (1934) was made with grenadine.

Ingredients
- 2 ounce rye
- 1 ounce grapefruit juice
- ½ ounce pama pomegranate liqueur
- 1 grapefruit twist, as garnish
Directions
Pour all the liquid ingredients into a cocktail shaker half filled with ice cubes. Cover and shake vigorously. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a grapefruit twist.
