With an aromatic nose of ripe red berries, and a hint of baking spices and white pepper, d’Arenberg The Stump Jump Red is a medium-bodied blend is a great burger wine. On the palate, the wine shows red currant, raspberries, ripe plum, a bit of licorice, and velvety soft tannins. The fruitiness from the Aussie-style Grenache and Shiraz keep it easy-going and great for outdoor dining, while the Mourvedre provides enough body and savory texture to compliment the bold flavors in the cheese and onions.
This wine falls under the “Rhone Ranger” style of wine-making, using a variety of grapes typically used to make wine in France’s Rhone Valley. In particular, the combination of Grenache, Syrah (or Shiraz), and Mourvedre emulates the famous and often expensive Chateauneuf-du-Pape wines of the Southern Rhone. GRANT

So excited for you and your interview Greg. I love when you toot your horn!
Yes we have a very clever squirrel that loves tomatoes. We are trying those silly hanging things as we are so tired of tasteless tomatoes.
Look forward to getting all the details on the interview. How wonderfully exciting.
I think there is a challenge five for some folks. My brother tries to grow tomatoes, with his three year old daughter in town and she calls herself a farmer. She also considers herself a “cook” of sorts. She plucks the nicely ripened tomatoes from the plants (she knows her stuff there) and mashes them up with mud+ water (her version of chocolate ice cream) and you find them in buckets around the backyard.
Great tips, now all I need is a place to plant them, because there is nothing better than homegrown tomatoes.
…firm green ones and toss them in some butter milk and fry them up!
These look beautiful…
Hmmm, aussie’s like tomatoes? I have to keep a close eye on my border collie next spring when we plant the tomatoes. I haven’t had a chance to plant any this year 🙁
Greg- good luck on the interview, make sure to talk us all up!
