Amaro, sweet vermouth, and cold-brewed coffee. This Torrefazione cocktail is named after an Italian coffee shop in Seattle that is sometimes given the “pre-Starbucks” honor of starting the coffee craze in the Pacific Northwest.

Ingredients
- 1 ounce amaro (preferably Averna)
- 1 ounce sweet vermouth (preferably Italian)
- 1 ounce strong cold-brew coffee
- ½ ounce simple syrup
- 1 small slice orange (more like a sliver)
Directions
Combine the amaro, sweet vermouth, coffee, and simple syrup in mixing glass half filled with medium ice cubes. Stir gently about 20 seconds. Julep strain into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange slice.
