a big handful of Thai basil leaves and stems
4 oz vodka
1 oz triple sec
the juice from 2 blood oranges and 1 lime
1. Pour the vodka into a mixing glass. Add the basil leaves and muddle them together with the back of a spoon. Let it steep for at least 1 hour.
2. Strain the infused vodka into a cocktail shaker half filled with crushed ice. Add triple sec and juices. Use the inverted mixing glass or shaker lid to cover and shake vigourously over 1 shoulder for 20–30 seconds
3. Strain into 2 chilled cocktail glasses.
4. Garnish each with one perfect That basil leaf. Serve.
