This is a lovely cocktail named after the Spanish town of Seville. If you can get juice from the sour oranges by the same name all the better.
makes 1

Ingredients
- 1½ ounce hendricks gin
- ½ ounce sherry
- 2 teaspoon sugar, to taste according to your oranges
- ½ ounce fresh-squeezed lemon juice
- ½ ounce fresh squeezed orange juice (sour sevilles if possible)
Directions
Shake all the ingredients vigorously with cracked ice. Strain into a stemmed cocktail glass. Serve.
Congrats on getting the well deserved recognition that yours is a voice that is heard and to be reckoned with. Does this mean you get dibs on Tyler’s new place in SF? Next time you’re up, you might have to check it out.
Tyler is one of my favorite celebrity chef’s. Too many of the other celebrity chefs recipes don’t translate well to recipes, his are always delicious!
Congrats on having such a great opportunity!
What did you all eat? besides grapes 🙂 which I would have been happy with, not much of a hot dog eater though.
GREG
How cool! Loved the video!
Dear GREG — It is heartening to learn that here is recognition that bloggers have a voice to be respected & heard…a veritable tour de force!
If there is one thing that is obvious from reading you is that you would NEVER put your name behind anything you don’t believe in. Picky is Good, Picky is You!
Therefore it comes as no surprise that you should be selected by CA grapes & Tyler Florence for this great cause. Very kewl! Brava!
Ciao, Devaki @ weavethousandflavors
The revised ‘baseball’ song was great, the scream footage made me dizzy, and the national anthem put a lump in my throat. What fun!
P.S. And I totally support the message/cause.
Very very cool, Greg! You are Da Man! As is Tyler Florence! Looks like great fun! And absolutely I think you should pick and choose. Your reputation as a serious food blogger is on the line. But you don’t need to accept every proposition anyway. And I always love your videos.
Awesome opportunity! You can pass the grapes this way. It’s not hard to add them into our diets. Oh, and YAY for hearing Brian McKnight sing! He’s amazing.
Tyler seems like one of the cooler celebrity chefs these days. Love his food and cooking.
Awesome that you got to chill with him! I guess blogging can pay off after all! 🙂
That is very cool, Greg. I thought you were setting us up for a funny joke until I saw the video. And I also get goosebumps and/or misty eyed hearing our national anthem. Especially when in stadiums or big crowds, all of us standing together, united.
Glad you got to be a part of this obviously fun event.
In fact I have met him twice now. That skinny guy in the video with him is me!! GREG
It’s definitely hard to pick and choose what is worth promoting and what isn’t, but typically I won’t dedicate my time and energy to anything that isn’t worthwhile. This is definitely a good cause though! Did you get to meet Tyler? Because that would be awesome.
