This Blue Hawaii is closely patterned after the original 1957 version invented by Harry Yee, the legendary bartender of Hawaiian Village in Waikiki.
Glassware: hurricane or tall chimney glass

Ingredients
- 1 scoop medium ice cubes
- 1 ounce silver rum
- 1 ounce vodka
- ½ ounce blue Curaçao
- 3 ounce pineapple juice
- ¼ ounce lemon juice
- ¼ ounce lime juice
- 1 orange slice for garnish
Directions
Fill a hurricane or tall chimney glass with ice. Set aside.
Add rum, vodka, Curaçao, and all three juices to a separate, equally sized glass.
Gently roll the liquid and ice cubes back and forth between the glasses three times. This technique, known as rolling, allows the cocktail to become chilled and well-mixed, yet remain crystal clear.
Garnish with an orange slice and enjoy
