Use this Lemon Verbena Infused Vodka recipe to make creative summer cocktails such as a Lemon Verbena Martini from Martha Stewart or one of my James Bond-inspired Lemon Verbena Vespers (see recipe).
Ingredients
- 1 cup loosely packed lemon verbena leaves (well washed)
- 2 cup vodka
Directions
Place lemon verbena and vodka in a lidded jar; cover and shake to evenly distribute. Let stand in a cool dark place for 3 days then strain the liquid through a fine-meshed sieve. Discard leaves. Store the lemon verbena-infused vodka in a sealed container for up to 10 days.
