Basil Lillet Kamikaze

Ingredients:

  • 1 c ice cubes, plus more for each glass
  • 0.5 c lillet blanc
  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 0.25 c whole basil leaves, plus small sprigs, for garnish
  • 1 oz tonic water
  • 0 cucumber spears for garnish

Directions

Pre-mix the appropriate amount for the number of cocktails you are making of Lillet, gin, orange juice, and whole basil leaves in to a pitcher. Let the mixture sit at least 30 minutes to infuse. When ready to serve make each Kamikaze individually by adding 1 cup ice cubes to a shaker and 3 or 4 ounces of the infused Lillet mixture per cocktail. Cover and shake well. Strain the Kamikaze into a ice filled glass and top with a splash of tonic water. Garnish with a cucumber spear and serve.
