(watch video) My second winner really dropped a bombshell on me. It comes from a man named Jonathan who lives in Niles, Illinois. Jonathan is not a blogger. He is a food lover (of sorts). He is a food lover with a very particular passion. That passion is Julia Child.

He “collects” information, books, letters, photos. Whatever he can get his hands on about the iconic chef. He regularly surfs the web for any little tidbits he can find out about her. I knew there were Elvis fans, and plenty of the Marilyn Monroe maniacs. But Julia Child? Who knew?

Anyway, in trawling for Julia Child mentions he discovered SippitySup.

I recently wrote about my mother. I passed along my memories of how Julia Child really influenced my mother, and therefore, was an important part of my childhood.

The great and mighty Google Search Engine brought Jonathan and my mother together and ultimately brought me news that I found thrilling. Julia Child was a WWII spy! I swear I did not know this. But I guess the information was made public in August. You cannot know how cool I think this is.

Jonathan's entry was a link to this YouTube video and I have chosen him as the second winner in the Cookstr/Jamie Oliver “What’s Cooking” Contest.

Some people out there may grumble. Especially the many Jamie Oliver fans. Jonathan merely pasted a link into a quick email and managed to come out a winner. But he really got inside my head. It’s like he knew which buttons to push.

If this turns out not to be true, I am going to be crushed. But in the meantime, “Jonathan…send me your address.”.

I typed the name Julia Child into this post six times. He is bound to find this. I do not think I even have to email him the results! (watch video)
