Grant has been interested in food and wine his whole adult life. “It really all goes back to my mother, who in the 1970’s taught herself classic French cuisine and methods, and transformed into a mid-western-suburban-housewife-amateur version of Julia Child!” After receiving a B.A. in American History, Grant eventually found his way to New York City, where he graduated from the French Culinary Institute. Since returning to his hometown of St. Petersburg, FL, Grant has shared his culinary talents through catering and personal chef events.
In addition, Grant has focused much of his energy lately towards his fascination with wine. Arming himself with knowledge and refining his palate, Grant also works part-time as a wine consultant for a big-box wine & spirits store.
Happily married to his wine-savvy and full-fledged-foodie wife Tracy, he’s also a stay-at-home dad to Tucker, an 15-month-old connoisseur-in-training.
